Role Overview

As a C++ Developer, you will be part of the team responsible for Commodities pricing real-time applications and infrastructure that power financial data contributions for LSEG products. You will contribute to the full software development lifecycle—analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support—ensuring high performance, accuracy, and scalability.

This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level developers to gain hands-on experience in C++ (STL, VC++), financial data systems, and real-time application development within a global financial technology environment.

Job Description :-

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate applications using C++/VC++ based on technical specifications.
• Participate in Agile sprint planning sessions to analyze development requirements.
• Implement medium-to-complex business logic using STL and C++ best practices.
• Enhance and maintain existing applications that generate or supply financial content for LSEG products.
• Perform automated unit testing to ensure compliance with client and business needs.
• Provide technical support for customer queries, operations teams, and infrastructure upgrades (e.g., server changes).
• Maintain and update technical/user documentation for assigned components.
• Suggest improvements and contribute to software optimization initiatives under the mentorship of senior developers.
• Provide regular status updates on assigned tasks and deliverables.
• Participate in team meetings and internal knowledge-sharing sessions.

Required Qualifications

• 0–1 year of software development experience in C++ (STL, VC++).
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and data structures.
• Knowledge of software development processes and industry coding standards.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in an Agile development environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to real-time applications or financial data systems.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and debugging tools.
• Basic understanding of infrastructure-related support (server upgrades, system testing).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, global financial technology environment.
