As a Software Engineer at Mercor, you will contribute to refining and scaling our AI-driven hiring platform. You will work on:

  • Enhancing the AI interview experience.
  • Managing systems that process millions in weekly payouts.
  • Building the most efficient and effective recruiting engine worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using React, Next.js, Python, or Go.
  • Design and optimize schemas for both SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Build and deploy solutions on cloud platforms like GCP or AWS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve platform capabilities and user experience.
  • Work evening hours aligned with PT timezone (through at least 11 AM PT).

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proficiency in React, Next.js, Python, or Go.
  • Experience designing schemas for SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP or AWS).
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and eagerness to learn.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base compensation: $20K–$100K (based on experience and skills).
  • Performance bonuses: Up to 40% of base compensation.
  • Referral bonuses: $1K per successful referral.
