Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using in-house automation tools and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and ensure testability.
  • Execute test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Identify, analyze, and report bugs or issues, working closely with developers for resolutions.
  • Create and maintain test environments, test data, and testing documentation.
  • Participate in test planning, strategy formulation, and estimation discussions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of automation frameworks and processes.
  • Stay updated on modern testing trends, technologies, and tools.
  • Follow QA best practices and ensure adherence to high-quality standards.
  • Support cross-functional teams in delivering robust, high-performing software releases.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, life cycle (SDLC), and agile practices.
  • Basic proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or C#.
  • Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Appium, or similar.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or TeamCity is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and passion for delivering bug-free software.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn, adapt to new tools and technologies, and grow in the QA domain.
