About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Risk & Data Analyst to support our Risk Function in safeguarding the bank’s financial and operational stability. In this role, you will help identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor risk across various business functions, while driving data-informed decision-making and automation.

You will play a key part in enhancing risk practices through data visualization, stakeholder engagement, and strategic insight generation, all while ensuring full compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the strategic direction and implementation of risk methodologies and processes.
• Lead or support the delivery of risk priorities and continuous process improvements.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of large, complex datasets to extract actionable insights.
• Develop dashboards and reports using visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Alteryx.
• Manage and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure system reliability.
• Utilize ETL tools and automation (VBA, Power Query, PowerApps) to streamline workflows.
• Maintain and manage SharePoint sites and collaborate on low-code/no-code platforms.
• Partner with internal stakeholders across business units to communicate risk findings and influence decisions.
• Ensure adherence to risk policies, standards, and a strong control environment.
• Embed risk mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory standards.
• Guide and support team members while driving a culture of continuous learning and improvement (for leadership roles).
• Collaborate with external third-party service providers as needed.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Business Objects).
• Proficient in MS Office Suite – with advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio skills.
• Expertise in data interpretation, dashboard creation, and trend analysis.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as VBA, Power Query, and PowerApps.
• Experience using ETL tools and performing system testing including UAT.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with a proactive mindset.
• Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.

Desirable Skills (Good to Have)

• Advanced data analysis and data management skills.
• Understanding of Database Management Systems (DBMS).
• Familiarity with data governance and data management principles.
• Experience working with procurement processes and procedures.
• Background in designing or managing SharePoint and collaborative sites.
• Exposure to low-code/no-code application development environments.
