Role Overview

As a Software Engineer at Qualcomm, you will contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge mobile chipsets and embedded systems. This role offers the opportunity to work across diverse technology areas, including:

• Multimedia Technologies – Audio/Video codecs, Image Processing
• Wireless Modem Technologies – 4G/5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Self-Organizing Networks
• Platform Software – Linux, Android, Windows, Board Support Packages (BSP)
• IoT & Emerging Tech – Connected Cameras, Smart Assistants, Drones, AR/VR

Job Description :-

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize real-time embedded software and device drivers.
• Contribute to mobile software development for Android, Linux, or Windows.
• Work on wireless modem and connectivity firmware/software.
• Implement communication protocol stacks (TCP/UDP/IP/SIP/RTP).
• Contribute to kernel, BSP, and Linux driver development.
• Participate in application software and UI development.
• Work on multimedia stacks, imaging, audio, and video solutions.
• Design and implement software using C, C++, and object-oriented programming.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, ECE, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of OS concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and object-oriented design.
• Knowledge of wireless communication standards (CDMA, GSM, UMTS, LTE, 5G).
• Familiarity with Linux/UNIX, kernel, and driver development.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent teamwork, verbal, and written communication abilities.
