Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Optics Design Intern to join our advanced ADAS camera systems team. This role offers hands-on experience with ZEMAX optical design software, contributing to the development of cutting-edge automotive camera solutions. The ideal candidate will support lens design through ray tracing analysis, performance optimization, and technical reporting to ensure high-precision imaging performance for next-generation driver-assistance technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret customer requirements and internal design standards for automotive-grade cameras.
• Understand the product architecture and technical constraints of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) cameras.
• Conduct detailed ray tracing simulations and optical performance analysis using ZEMAX.
• Evaluate key optical parameters such as MTF (Modulation Transfer Function), EFL (Effective Focal Length), and distortion.
• Generate comprehensive technical reports, documenting findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align optical design with mechanical and system-level requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Pursuing or completed B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics, Optics, Photonics, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of optical principles and imaging systems.
• Proficiency in ZEMAX optical design software is essential.
• Basic knowledge of CAD tools for mechanical-technical integration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to comprehend and interpret complex technical documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
