Role Overview:

Razorpay is seeking a proactive and technically skilled Technical Support Engineer to serve as the first line of communication for post-integration technical issues. The ideal candidate will provide expert assistance to developers, merchants, and internal teams, ensuring seamless resolution of issues related to APIs, plugins, and Razorpay’s comprehensive product suite. You’ll act as a key liaison between the product engineering team and clients, ensuring quick, accurate, and satisfactory resolutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolve technical queries related to APIs, plugins, and Razorpay’s product suite for developers and clients.
  • Collaborate with CXOs and highly technical teams to provide solution-oriented support.
  • Identify and troubleshoot inconsistencies or bugs in product functionality and raise Jira tickets to the product/engineering team.
  • Offer Level 2/3 support by leveraging deep product knowledge and debugging skills.
  • Document all client interactions and progress updates using CRM tools like Freshdesk.
  • Serve as a product expert by consistently maintaining deep technical knowledge of Razorpay’s offerings.
  • Prevent unnecessary escalations by resolving complex issues independently.
  • Occasionally visit client locations to handle critical on-site integrations or issues.

Must-Have Qualifications & Skills:

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Independent decision-making skills with minimal dependency on others.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and client-handling capabilities.
  • Familiarity with payment gateway technologies and ecosystem (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of both frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, Flutter, React Native) and backend technologies (Java, C++, Python, Go).
  • Educational qualification: B.Tech/M.Tech with relevant internship or project experience.
