Key Responsibilities

As a Data Associate, you will be responsible for supporting credit analysis activities across finance rating groups. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Data Validation & Intake: Scrub, validate, and process data for use in credit ratings and financial research.
• Database Management: Capture and update financial data in internal databases according to set guidelines.
• Issue Identification: Proactively identify data inconsistencies or concerns and escalate to senior team members for resolution.
• Credit Infrastructure Support: Perform basic administrative and credit-related tasks, such as updating SharePoint files, maintaining spreadsheets, and assisting with document management.
• Reporting: Share daily/weekly status reports on workflows, data updates, and analytical progress.

Skills and Competencies

• Attention to Detail: Demonstrate strong accuracy in data handling and processing.
• Understanding of Financial Data: Grasp input/output requirements for credit-related datasets and adhere to strict data integrity standards.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with team members and reporting managers in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
• Time Management: Prioritize tasks and complete assignments under supervision within required timeline.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Up to 1 year of relevant experience in credit analysis, financial data handling, or related support roles.
