About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Software Test and Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore, India. In this role, you will be part of a large engineering team focused on wireless technologies and contribute to the full software development lifecycle for systems at scale.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop software for automation, testing, networking, and tooling to ensure product quality. You will help define, implement, and execute tests for Cisco’s wireless networking solutions, controllers, and access points.

This role offers the opportunity to work on next-generation networking technologies while also gaining exposure to AI and Machine Learning applications that enhance connectivity experiences for mission-critical systems worldwide.

Job Description :-

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement test automation frameworks for Cisco’s wireless solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure end-to-end software quality assurance.
• Contribute to test planning, execution, debugging, and validation of features.
• Learn and apply knowledge of Cisco products, wireless technologies, and networking protocols.
• Drive improvements in testing methodologies, tools, and automation strategies.
• Support troubleshooting, problem resolution, and continuous enhancement of test systems.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong coding skills in C, C++ or Python.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, protocols, etc.).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration mindset.

Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Mandatory)

• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and related development tools.
• Knowledge of wireless networking standards (802.11, Bluetooth Low Energy, Zigbee/802.15.4, etc.).
• Additional programming knowledge in Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, or other languages.
• Strong grasp of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience in software quality assurance, test automation, or debugging.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA or experience with Cisco/other networking products.

Who You Are

• A recent graduate (BS/MS in Computer Science or Engineering) or an early-career professional.
• Up to 2 years of hands-on experience through projects, internships, or apprenticeships.
• Passionate about software development, networking, and automation.
• Eager to learn, grow, and build the future of wireless networking.
