About the Role

As a Software Engineering Intern at Cargill, you will gain hands-on experience working on impactful projects in areas such as cloud platforms, big data, and application development. You’ll be part of a global Digital Technology & Data team, developing technical skills, building professional networks, and contributing to solutions that support Cargill’s mission to nourish the world.

Job Description :-

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to projects as an individual contributor or within teams.
• Apply and build engineering skills across cloud, big data, and application development.
• Collaborate with mentors and supervisors with ongoing performance feedback.
• Document and present solutions to real business challenges.
• Participate in orientation programs, experiential learning activities, and volunteer events.
• Network with Cargill leaders, technology teams, and fellow interns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Internship Details

• Duration: 5–6 months (Jan–Jun 2026).
• Stipend: Paid monthly.
• Transport: Pick-up and drop facility (within serviceable Bengaluru limits; same pickup/drop address required).
• Leaves: 1 casual leave + 1 sick leave per month (non-accruable and non-encashable).
• Future Opportunities: High-performing interns may be offered full-time roles as Associate Software Engineers.

Eligibility

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology in:
  • Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, AI/ML, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
• Expected graduation: June 2026.
• Institution approval required for availability (Jan–Jun 2026).
• Must be geographically flexible and available to work onsite in Bengaluru multiple days a week.
• Knowledge of:
  • Structured programming, system analysis & design, database design, and basic business concepts.
• Strong initiative, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous software engineering internship experience.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and commercial product software development.
• Strong analytical and technical skills.
• Ability to link technical knowledge to real-world applications.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and research skills.
