Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust test automation scripts for scalable cloud-based applications.
• Implement and maintain automation frameworks that improve test coverage, efficiency, and reliability.
• Work closely with development teams to understand system architecture and create comprehensive test strategies.
• Use AWS services like EC2, S3, and Lambda to create resilient, scalable test environments.
• Automate testing of Kafka-based workflows, ensuring end-to-end message integrity and performance validation.
• Analyze test execution results, debug issues, and collaborate with developers to drive swift resolutions.
• Continuously refine testing methodologies, adopt best practices, and increase automation efficiency.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for test plans, cases, results, and automation frameworks.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in cloud and SaaS test automation.

Technical Skills Needed

• Hands-on experience with full stack test automation in cloud environments.
• Practical knowledge of AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka – producing, consuming, and validating messages in automation.
• Experience using tools like Playwright, Selenium, or similar test automation frameworks.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).
• Exposure to NoSQL databases such as Graph DB, MongoDB, Cassandra.
• Experience in Agile methodologies and sprint-based development environments.
• Ability to test system scalability, interoperability, portability, and security.
