Job Description

As a Systems & Platform Support Engineer, you will work in a 24×7 mission-critical environment providing proactive and reactive support for our cloud-based SaaS Push-to-Talk solutions. You will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving complex issues involving operating systems, networking, and databases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide round-the-clock on-call support to meet critical service agreements with customers.
• Troubleshoot complex cross-platform issues involving OS, networking, and database in a cloud/SaaS environment.
• Handle live production incidents, debug application and infrastructure problems, and escalate issues when required.
• Participate in live troubleshooting calls with customers, capturing logs and network traces to aid resolution.
• Deploy Push-to-Talk applications and configure network communication across multiple servers.
• Monitor network performance, application performance, and service integrity to ensure optimal uptime.
• Develop tools and services for log parsing, system health checks, and network analysis to speed up debugging.
• Create automation tools for monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and providing real-time health dashboards for the solution.

Basic Requirements

• Strong understanding of basic networking protocols.
• Background in Linux/Unix administration.
• Experience in web-based application debugging.
• Knowledge of Docker and Azure fundamentals.
• Basic familiarity with AWS CloudWatch for monitoring.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle direct customer interactions.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Shell scripting for Linux environments.
• Exposure to Kubernetes and advanced Docker usage.
