Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional Amazon teams to ideate, design, and develop new products and services.
• Build scalable and innovative technology solutions within large, distributed computing environments.
• Develop intelligent systems to run predictions on massive datasets using state-of-the-art tools and frameworks.
• Design robust storage, indexing, and querying systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, cost-efficient, and user-friendly.
• Write high-quality, efficient code to address loosely defined, complex problems.
• Work in an agile environment that promotes fast, iterative development and continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, C/C++, or Python.
• Strong understanding of fundamental computer science concepts, including:
  • Object-oriented programming (OOP)
  • Algorithm and data structure design
  • Problem-solving strategies
  • Time and space complexity analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a technical internship or similar role.
• Exposure to distributed systems, multi-tiered architectures, and relational databases.
• Knowledge of optimization algorithms, including linear and nonlinear programming.
• Strong analytical and communication skills to articulate complex technical problems and solutions.
• Ability to work independently, handle ambiguity, and approach problems with a logical, abstract mindset.
