About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic R&D team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of EDA software development, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of innovative software solutions that power our engineering workflows.

As part of a collaborative team, you’ll work with Application Engineers (AEs) and Marketing to transform customer requirements into cutting-edge features. You’ll also coordinate with Product Validation (PV) to ensure robust testing and quality assurance across all software deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software features based on architectural and functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with AEs and Marketing to interpret customer needs and design appropriate software solutions.
  • Partner with Product Validation teams to ensure comprehensive validation and quality control of all deliverables.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to resolve customer-facing issues through innovative engineering.
  • Continuously learn and adapt to new HDL languages and low power methodologies as part of evolving project needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), or Computer Science (CS) from a top-tier engineering institution.
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in C/C++, strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
  • Familiarity with HDL languages (Verilog, VHDL, System Verilog) and low power methodologies (UPF/CPF) is a significant advantage.
  • Working knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Tcl) and revision control systems (e.g., Perforce or Git).
  • Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and abstraction skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team-player mindset with a focus on delivering customer-centric solutions.
  • Experience or interest in EDA tools is a bonus.
