About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Software Engineer to join our dynamic software development team. In this role, you’ll work on enhancing existing applications, designing new reports, and contributing to the full software development life cycle. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve coding, debugging, requirement gathering, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and maintain existing software applications based on client and internal requirements.
  • Design and develop custom reports involving data extraction, transformation, and visualization.
  • Gather and analyze project requirements, estimate timelines, and execute development tasks accordingly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in client meetings to align deliverables with expectations.
  • Contribute to technical design discussions at the component level and provide technical documentation.
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve bugs and performance issues.
  • Support software releases and post-release issue tracking.
  • Understand and integrate healthcare workflows and the Millennium data model into application development.
  • Continuously look for process improvements within the software development ecosystem.

Required Skills:

  • Programming & Database: SQL, PL/SQL, Java/Python/C++
  • Tools: Git (version control), Debugging tools, Unit testing frameworks
  • Data Analysis: Ability to process, interpret and represent complex data
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills
    • Attention to detail and time management
    • Quick learner with adaptability to new technologies and platforms
    • Willingness to mentor and support peers.

Preferred (Good to Have):
