As a Program/Project Management Intern, you will support the translation of Micron’s Global Procurement (GP) strategic objectives into actionable program roadmaps that deliver measurable benefits for the organization. You will collaborate with team members to drive cost savings programs, ensure organizational alignment, and optimize category performance. By assisting with project management and organizational change management tasks, you will contribute to the achievement of GP strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Program Management
- Support the development of program metrics and key indicators to achieve program goals.
- Collaborate on projects and programs to ensure all goals are met within budget, timeline, and scope constraints.
- Assist in reporting project status, managing risks, and implementing solutions for successful project execution.
- Work together with cross-functional teams on project opportunities to gain a competitive advantage and ensure successful implementation.
- Support the team in measuring and monitoring program performance.
Leading through Influence
- Assist in implementing organizational change management methods and tools to increase the speed of adoption and capture project or program return on investment.
- Ability to deploy judgment and adapt accordingly to support and persuade others to adopt the changes required for a successful implementation of the program.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Assist in implementing strategies to develop positive relationships with stakeholders, enabling a competitive advantage and achieving program and project objectives.
- Consolidate efforts with cross-functional teams on project opportunities to ensure successful implementation.
- Prepare necessary materials and plans to support stakeholder engagement.
- Assist in coordinating activities and communications to maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
