About the Role

We are seeking an ESG Specialist to join our high-performing team of domain experts. Our team is responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining ESG-related content across existing databases, as well as testing upcoming tools, systems, and platforms. The role involves driving automation, process simplification, and quality improvements within ESG Operations.

The ideal candidate will work in an agile environment, contributing to innovative projects that focus on machine learning, deep learning, data analysis, and process efficiency. This is a unique opportunity to apply data science skills to real-world ESG challenges and help shape next-generation solutions.

Job Description :-

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement machine learning and deep learning models to address complex business problems.
• Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
• Apply NLP and Boolean logic checks to identify incorrect or missing ESG data.
• Manage data extraction, reporting, and advanced data analysis.
• Use SQL to query, manipulate, and manage large datasets.
• Design and execute web scraping workflows to gather relevant ESG data from multiple sources.
• Work with Large Language Models (LLMs) for advanced natural language processing tasks.
• Create data visualizations and dashboards using Python libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn) and Microsoft Power BI.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in machine learning, deep learning, and statistical analysis.
• Strong Python and SQL skills for data querying and automation.
• Expertise in Microsoft Power Platform tools.
• Experience with web scraping tools and frameworks.
• Hands-on knowledge of NLP and LLMs (BERT, GPT, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in data visualization using Python packages and Power BI.

Desired Skills

• Familiarity with LSEG proprietary automation systems such as LEAD and DEMING.
• Understanding of ESG data, standards, and market trends.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma principles for process improvement.

Educational Qualifications

• Certification in Data Science; OR
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; OR
• Degree in any discipline with proven expertise in programming languages such as Python, VBA, SQL, etc.
