We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Analyst to join our growing team. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to be part of strategic, cross-functional projects that shape the future of banking and financial services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply critical thinking and a continuous improvement mindset to identify, define, and solve complex business problems.
  • Structure and simplify large or undefined issues to support effective decision-making and problem resolution.
  • Develop innovative, systemic solutions using data-driven insights and creative thinking.
  • Assess potential solutions based on cost, benefit, and feasibility, ensuring alignment with HSBC’s commercial strategy and risk-reward balance.
  • Communicate complex information clearly and concisely to diverse stakeholders, adapting messaging to different audiences.
  • Understand business drivers, competitive landscape, and global priorities to propose strategically aligned solutions.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate service or performance risks, ensuring consistent quality through well-managed review processes.
  • Foster strong partnerships with internal teams and external vendors, supporting seamless solution delivery and collaborative problem-solving.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Core Business Analysis Skills: Proven experience in requirements gathering, solution design, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Agile Delivery Experience: Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including use of tools like JIRA and Confluence.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Ability to perform data analysis and interpret SQL queries to inform business insights and decisions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Experience working with cross-functional teams across business, IT, data, and operations.
  • Financial Services Knowledge: Solid understanding of the banking industry with a focus on transformation, change management, and operational processes.
  • Change Adoption: Skilled in planning and executing change management strategies, including training, communication, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Global Project Exposure: Experience working on multi-regional or international projects in a collaborative environment.
  • Design & Initiation Expertise: Prior involvement in transformation project design and initiation phases is a strong advantage.
