🧠 Key Responsibilities

  • Lead data quality processes to ensure data reliability, accuracy, and integrity.
  • Analyze complex datasets and identify issues related to data lineage, quality, controls, and source systems.
  • Cleanse, transform, and prepare data for insightful analysis and reporting.
  • Build and optimize data pipelines and workflows to automate data movement.
  • Utilize advanced analytics, including AI and ML, to solve business challenges.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across domains to understand business data needs and deliver effective solutions.
  • Document findings, create detailed reports, and recommend data improvement strategies.
  • Work cross-functionally to influence decisions and strengthen data governance.

🧾 Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong expertise in SQL, Snowflake, and Teradata BTeq.
  • Experience working in the banking domain, especially on regulatory data deliveries.
  • Familiarity with data quality frameworks, ETL processes, and reporting.
  • Ability to investigate, analyze, and resolve data issues across various platforms.
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and pattern recognition skills.

➕ Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to UK financial regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Knowledge of Big Data tools and automation.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and with JIRA/Confluence tools.

  • Provide guidance to teams and collaborate with senior stakeholders across functions.
  • Drive policy development and risk mitigation strategies related to data governance.
  • Set objectives, mentor junior analysts, and support performance evaluations.
