Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architecture specialists to drive performance enhancements in AMD’s next-generation products.
• Analyze performance data to guide and prioritize optimization efforts effectively.
• Stay ahead of technology trends, especially in algorithms and architecture innovations, to inform AMD’s product strategies.
• Design and develop groundbreaking technologies to push the limits of performance and efficiency.
• Participate in ASIC and hardware bring-up, ensuring seamless integration and performance tuning.
• Debug and resolve complex issues, while exploring innovative solutions for enhanced software performance.
• Develop and maintain strong technical relationships with internal teams and external partners.

The Ideal Candidate

• Passionate about software engineering, with strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Effective communicator, able to work cross-functionally with different teams.
• Detail-oriented coder, with a solid understanding of software development best practices.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in C/C++, with a strong background in object-oriented programming.
• Experience with concurrent programming and threading APIs.
• Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and/or Android operating system development.
• Hands-on experience with software development tools, including debuggers, version control systems (GitHub), and profilers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on quality and performance optimization.

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
