About the Role

As a Data Engineer at IBM, you will be at the forefront of unlocking the potential of data to uncover valuable insights, patterns, and stories. You will work on data gathering, storage, batch, and real-time processing while collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement the right data management systems.

Your role will involve solving complex challenges around database integration, unstructured datasets, and large-scale data processing. By ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and availability, you will play a key part in driving business intelligence and decision-making at IBM.

• Working knowledge of MS Azure Cloud.
• Advanced skills in Informatica PowerCenter.
• Strong expertise in Unix shell scripting and Python for automation and data processing.

Job Description :-

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for batch and real-time processing.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to identify and gather crucial business data.
• Work with data warehousing, integration, and business intelligence solutions using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Ensure seamless data migration to cloud platforms and optimize storage solutions.
• Analyze and transform complex and unstructured datasets for meaningful insights.
• Resolve challenges related to database integration and system performance.

Required Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or a related field.

Preferred Education:

• Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline.

Required Technical & Professional Expertise

• Hands-on experience with Data Warehousing, Data Integration, Business Intelligence using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Knowledge of Cloud platforms, Power BI, and data migration on cloud.
• Strong experience in Unix shell scripting and Python programming.
• Proficiency in SQL, relational databases, and Big Data technologies.

Preferred Technical & Professional Experience
