Job Family Definition

As a Cloud Developer at HPE, you will design, build, and deliver cloud-based solutions for mission-critical applications. You’ll apply innovative thinking to engineer, prototype, and implement next-generation cloud systems that solve complex problems and create tangible customer value.

Working collaboratively with project managers, peers, and development partners, you will ensure effective deployment, monitoring, and support of cloud-native applications. You will also contribute to enriching HPE’s Cloud Services portfolio with scalable, secure, and innovative solutions.

Job Description :-

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud application modules in alignment with security and feature specifications.
• Design, execute, and automate test plans for assigned features.
• Deploy, debug, and optimize code in a collaborative environment.
• Contribute technical insights and innovative ideas to peer reviews, design discussions, and cross-functional teams.
• Analyze and solve complex application, system, or network issues across cloud environments.
• Collaborate with technical writers, senior engineers, and managers to ensure quality deliverables.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field (Master’s preferred).
• 0–2 years of experience in software/cloud development.

Required Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in Python, Java, Golang, or JavaScript.
• Understanding of coding, debugging, and testing procedures.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, automation).
• Strong ability to learn new technologies quickly and work collaboratively.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred / Additional Skills

• Knowledge of Cloud Architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with Microservices, Distributed Computing, and Full-Stack Development.
• Exposure to Design Thinking and User Experience (UX) principles.
• Understanding of Release Management and Security-first approaches.
