Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled Full-Stack Java Developer to join our innovative team focused on developing IoT-enabled smart community applications. This role involves designing and building scalable applications using Core Java, React.js, and modern cloud platforms. You’ll work on end-to-end solutions that integrate with sensors, IoT platforms, and real-time data processing tools to power intelligent urban environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop full-stack web applications using Core Java for backend and React.js or Angular for frontend development
  • Build and support IoT-integrated solutions that connect to sensors, devices, and platforms using protocols like MQTT and WebSockets
  • Deploy, manage, and scale applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders to deliver user-centric digital experiences
  • Implement DevOps and CI/CD best practices to automate build, test, and deployment processes using tools like GitHub Actions, Gradle, and Ant
  • Ensure application security, scalability, and high performance, especially with real-time data streams and IoT integrations
  • Debug complex issues, optimize code, and enhance application reliability
  • Apply test-driven development (TDD) principles using JUnit, Mockito, and other testing tools

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong command of Core Java and object-oriented programming
  • Hands-on expertise in developing multi-threaded Java applications
  • Proficient in JavaScript, React.js, and modern frontend frameworks
  • Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis
  • In-depth understanding of Java design patterns and writing clean, reusable, and efficient code
  • Solid understanding of the Java Virtual Machine (JVM), its limitations, and performance tuning techniques
  • Skilled in code debugging, problem-solving, and maintaining legacy codebases
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and collaborative project execution
  • Experience with IoT frameworks, edge computing, and sensor integration
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, using Git, GitHub Actions, and automation tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution
  • Experience with the Niagara framework is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with AI/ML integration for IoT analytics
  • Exposure to Digital Twin technologies and city-wide operations platforms
  • Experience with low-code/no-code platforms for workflow automation is an added advantage.
