Your Impact

As a Power BI Specialist, you will:

• Collaborate with the HE Performance & Analytics Team to design and manage analysis services and reporting models that power Transformer-related insights.
• Build engaging Power BI dashboards, reports, and KPI scorecards using advanced DAX queries, Power Query Editor, and complex data models.
• Integrate and transform data from multiple sources, including SAP / S4 HANA, to deliver high-quality, actionable business intelligence.
• Apply advanced calculations and row-level security (RLS) to ensure data integrity and secure access.
• Support the development of tabular and multidimensional models that align with warehouse standards and business requirements.
• Manage the BU QO’s Reporting & Analytics Teams Space and SharePoint sites, creating up-to-date knowledge portals, documentation, and instructions for stakeholders.
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis, including What-If and Scenario Analysis, to inform decision-making within the Quality & Operations Department.
• Support training for end-users and stakeholders on report usage, ensuring high levels of data literacy and report engagement.
• Maintain a focus on data quality and completeness, proactively engaging in data cleansing initiatives.

Your Background and Skills

• Expertise in Power BI, DAX functions, Power Query, and data modeling.
• DA-100 certification preferred.
• Strong experience with SAP / S4 HANA data handling and integrating multiple data sources into a unified Power BI environment.
• Proficient in developing tabular and multidimensional models and creating complex, business-aligned calculations.
• Knowledge of row-level security (RLS) and a foundational understanding of tools such as Microsoft Azure, SQL Data Warehouse, SSAS, Visual Studio, and Power Apps.
• Extended skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience in building MS Teams Spaces and SharePoint pages to enhance collaboration and information sharing.
• Familiarity with Hitachi Energy / PGTR organizational structure and KPIs is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
• Proactive, adaptable, and capable of working across time zones to engage effectively with stakeholders.
