Program Overview:

The Graduate Apprentice Trainee (GAT) – Sales program is crafted for fresh graduates stepping into the Construction Equipment sector. You’ll receive direct exposure to sales operations, fieldwork, customer engagement, and marketing strategies, contributing to both Volvo CE’s and dealer’s business growth.

Job Description :-

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist dealer sales teams in daily operations and on-site customer activities.
• Support monthly sales forecasting, lead tracking, and market research.
• Learn detailed specifications of Volvo and SDLG construction equipment.
• Accompany senior sales staff on client meetings and project site visits.
• Handle basic customer inquiries and relationship-building tasks.
• Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and customer preferences.
• Participate in local marketing campaigns and product promotions.
• Collaborate with product support teams to understand aftersales services.
• Document learnings and field insights for performance tracking and training.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong desire to learn, grow, and succeed in a sales environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Customer-first approach with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Willingness to travel and work on field assignments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Educational Qualifications:

• Graduate Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Automobile) or Business Management (Marketing / Sales).
• Must be eligible under NATS or equivalent government-approved apprenticeship program.
