Role: Process Associate / Process Developer – Underwriting

We are looking for talented individuals to join our Underwriting team as Process Associates. This role is ideal for candidates with strong processing skills, attention to detail, and a customer-first approach. The position requires flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review submission requests to validate accuracy against referral guidelines; escalate exceptions to underwriters for approval.
  • Update client systems in alignment with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and defined guidelines.
  • Meet agreed turnaround time (TAT) and maintain document quality as per service standards.
  • Manage registration tasks, update workflow systems, and send confirmations to relevant stakeholders.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to underwriters, operations staff, and cross-functional teams across regions.
  • Research, troubleshoot, and resolve queries using internal resources effectively.

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in any discipline.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to interpret, validate, and compile information from multiple sources.
  • Team-oriented with sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Consistent track record of meeting accuracy and timeliness benchmarks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Preferred Qualifications / Skills

  • Prior experience in Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and perform effectively in flexible shifts throughout the year.
