Emerson is seeking a passionate and driven Graduate Engineer Trainee – DCS Engineer to join our Process Systems & Solutions (PSS) project engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, implementation, testing, and delivery of DCS (Distributed Control Systems) solutions for global projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with overseas country offices on small-scale projects to define scope, timelines, and deliverables, and provide regular progress updates.
  • Participate in technical discussions, clarify technical queries (TQ), and engage in weekly project meetings.
  • Analyze P&ID diagrams and project documentation to interpret process requirements.
  • Design, implement, and test DCS configurations, including modules such as Dynamo, FP, DT, and Batch systems.
  • Develop configuration standards, testing guidelines, and documentation in alignment with project requirements.
  • Proactively identify and escalate project risks or issues to the lead/project engineer, suggesting mitigation strategies where possible.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and contribute actively to Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and commissioning activities as required.
  • Ensure adherence to Emerson’s quality processes, standards, and documentation practices throughout the project lifecycle.
