Role Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Junior ReactJS/NodeJS Frontend Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals to kickstart their career in web development. You will work under the mentorship of senior developers, contributing to ReactJS-based user interfaces and supporting Node.js backend services, while gaining hands-on experience with modern web technologies in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Code Development: Write, test, and debug clean, efficient ReactJS components and Node.js code for new features and enhancements under supervision.
• Bug Fixing: Assist in identifying and resolving software defects.
• Testing: Participate in unit testing and support integration testing to maintain code quality.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, UX/UI designers, and QA teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Documentation: Assist in maintaining technical documentation.
• Code Review Participation: Learn best practices through peer and senior developer code reviews.
• Support: Provide assistance in maintaining and troubleshooting existing applications.
• Learning & Growth: Continuously learn new technologies, frameworks, and best practices through guidance and self-study.

Qualifications Required

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 0–2 years of professional web development experience, or strong academic/personal project experience with ReactJS and Node.js.
• ReactJS Fundamentals: Understanding of components, props, state, and hooks.
• Node.js Basics: Familiarity with server-side JavaScript, including basic API creation/consumption.
• JavaScript/TypeScript: Solid grasp of modern JavaScript (ES6+) and exposure to TypeScript.
• Web Technologies: Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• API Interaction: Understanding of consuming RESTful APIs.
• AI Code Generation: Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, Claude, Cursor, Windsurf) or awareness of transformer-based code generation.
• Testing: Basic understanding of unit testing concepts.
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, eagerness to learn, and problem-solving aptitude.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Exposure to state management libraries (Redux, Zustand).
• Familiarity with build tools (Webpack, Vite).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or Docker.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Awareness of performance optimization techniques for web applications.
