Job Description :-

Key Responsibilities

• Code Development: Write, test, and debug clean, efficient Java code for new features and enhancements.
• Bug Fixing: Assist in identifying, analyzing, and resolving software issues.
• Testing: Contribute to unit testing and integration testing to ensure software reliability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with senior developers, QA teams, and product owners to meet project goals.
• Learning & Growth: Actively learn new technologies, frameworks, and AI-powered coding tools.
• Documentation: Support in creating and maintaining technical documentation.
• Code Reviews: Participate in reviews to improve code quality and gain feedback.
• Application Support: Provide support for existing applications when required.

Qualifications

Required:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 0–2 years of professional experience in Java development OR strong academic project experience.
• Core Java: Solid understanding of OOPs, data structures, and algorithms.
• Databases: Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• AI Code Generation: Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., OpenAI Codex, GitHub Copilot, Anthropic Claude, Cursor, Windsurf).
• Version Control: Basic knowledge of Git.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving ability, eagerness to learn, and good communication skills.

Preferred:

• Exposure to Spring Framework (Spring Boot) via projects or coursework.
• Basic understanding of RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Maven/Gradle build tools.
• Experience with JUnit or other testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or containerization (Docker).
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
