Role Purpose:
The primary objective of this role is to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications or systems that are deployed at the client’s end. The Software Engineer ensures all deliverables meet 100% quality assurance standards and contribute to the overall performance and success of the product.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirement Analysis and Design Understanding

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand software/product requirements and translate them into effective design solutions.
  • Study system flows, data usage, and work processes to develop suitable software.
  • Investigate technical issues through root cause analysis and propose actionable solutions.
  • Participate in feasibility studies and convert client requirements into technical designs.
  • Collaborate with functional teams or systems analysts to delve deeper into software specifications.
  • Coordinate with project managers to align design with project capabilities.

2. Software Development and Optimization

  • Conduct in-depth software development and coding to meet operational requirements.
  • Evaluate and ensure operational feasibility through detailed problem analysis and design implementation.
  • Automate and execute test cases to validate software performance and stability.
  • Modify and update software for performance optimization, hardware compatibility, and user interface improvements.
  • Ensure all code is error-free, well-documented, and version-controlled.
  • Prepare accurate reports and documentation on development status and specifications.
  • Maintain clear communication with the team regarding daily tasks and project progress.
  • Deliver feedback on usability, trace quality risks, and escalate concerns when needed.

3. Client Communication, Reporting, and Quality Assurance

  • Capture client requirements and clarifications to enhance deliverable quality.
  • Seek and incorporate feedback regularly to ensure timely and smooth project execution.
  • Engage in continuous learning and training to remain up-to-date with industry best practices and technologies.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to align software with hardware specifications and performance benchmarks.
  • Develop and maintain documentation including flowcharts, diagrams, code comments, and process layouts.
  • Ensure high standards of client communication and professional etiquette across all channels.
  • Respond promptly to client queries, ensuring zero unresolved complaints or escalations.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Proficient in analyzing system requirements and translating them into code
  • Experience with debugging, validation, and system optimization
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and client-handling skills
  • Attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance and timely delivery.
