About the Role

We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong expertise in JavaScript-based testing frameworks (Playwright, Cypress) and a solid foundation in both web and mobile testing. You will play a critical role in ensuring product quality by driving automation, functional testing, regression testing, and contributing to infrastructure improvements.

Job Description :-

What You Will Do

• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for web and mobile applications using Playwright, Cypress, and Detox.
• Perform functional, regression, responsive, exploratory, and cross-browser/platform testing to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Validate API functionality and integrations to ensure high reliability of backend services.
• Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and drive a quality-first engineering culture.
• Contribute to infrastructure automation and continuous improvements in testing processes.
• Support performance testing initiatives including load, stress, and scalability testing.

What Makes You Eligible

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in JavaScript with experience in end-to-end testing frameworks (Playwright, Cypress).
• Strong knowledge of web and mobile testing principles.
• Hands-on experience with functional, regression, responsive, and cross-platform testing.
• Familiarity with Detox or Appium for mobile testing.
• Exposure to API testing tools (Rest Assured, Postman).
• Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation (Terraform a plus).
• Strong problem-solving skills with resourcefulness in triaging and issue resolution.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience in performance testing (load, stress).
• Knowledge of security and reliability testing practices.
• Familiarity with SonarQube or similar code quality tools.
