Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the analysis, design, development, and implementation of application systems and programs.
• Leverage understanding of software development procedures and concepts to contribute to system improvements and enhancements.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve technical and business-related issues with recommended solutions.
• Apply industry standards, system knowledge, and business process insights to develop efficient and effective application solutions.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and scripting activities; write basic to intermediate code as per design specifications.
• Evaluate new options and implement best-fit solutions where procedures do not exist.
• Gain and apply knowledge of Citi’s IT infrastructure, including network operations, database systems, client-server applications, and desktop environments.
• Ensure compliance with firm policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical standards, escalating any issues appropriately.

Qualifications:

• 0–2 years of hands-on experience in software/application development or debugging business applications.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language or scripting tool.
• Foundational understanding of application development standards and methodologies.
• Ability to solve problems analytically and apply structured decision-making.
• Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
• Keen interest in learning and growing in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
