Responsibilities:

• Manage and periodically review access controls to ensure data security.
• Conduct regular audits of database (DB), VPN, Jira, Confluence, and Git repositories across multiple teams.
• Revoke system and data access for departing employees to maintain security standards.
• Perform periodic reviews of implemented compliance frameworks.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for small to medium-sized technology projects.
• Provide timely status updates on ongoing technology-related projects.
• Perform internal Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) on company websites.
• Regularly review and update security protocols to match industry best practices.
• Conduct periodic reviews of Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIA).
• Respond to security questionnaires from both prospective and existing clients.
• Assist the Information Security Management System (ISMS) team during ISO 27001 audits.

Qualifications and Prerequisites:

• Strong understanding of Information Security principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of application security and familiarity with the OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
• Hands-on experience with HTML, scripting languages, SQL, and basic Unix commands.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, including protocols, ports, TLS, HTTP, and HTTPS.
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
• Experience with security tools such as OWASP ZAP and Burp Suite is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of AWS cloud services.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and the ability to accomplish tasks efficiently.
