Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic Associate Test Engineer (Fresher) to join our QA team. In this role, you will work under guidance to develop and execute manual and automated test cases, ensuring software quality across multiple platforms. You will gain exposure to the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC) while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Job Description :-

Key Responsibilities

• Review and understand business, functional, and software requirement documents.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and strategy discussions.
• Design, write, and execute manual test cases and identify potential areas for automation.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, smoke, UI, and user acceptance testing.
• Track, log, and manage defects using defect tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution.
• Execute test iterations and report detailed test results to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, consultants, and managers throughout the SDLC.
• Support troubleshooting activities and help resolve issues during testing.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying risks and suggesting mitigation strategies.
• Document and maintain test processes, scripts, and reports.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Good understanding of SDLC & STLC processes and testing concepts.
• Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with test planning, test case design, and execution.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools.
• Basic knowledge of SQL queries.
• Exposure to Agile methodology.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Knowledge (Good to Have)

• Awareness of automation tools and scripting basics.
• Familiarity with compliance testing processes.
• Understanding of CI/CD and testing in DevOps environments.
