Responsibilities:
- Assist in building and improving machine learning models for various applications.
- Work with datasets, cleaning, preprocessing, and transforming data to train models.
- Implement SOTA deep learning algorithms to solve various Computer vision problems.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and data scientists to optimize model performance and deploy the model as an endpoint or batch job.
- Conduct experiments and analyze the performance of models using open source datasets and benchmark on Airbus specific data.
- Create data visualizations and reports to communicate insights and results effectively.
- Contribute to the development of machine learning pipelines with MLOps capabilities (experiment tracking, model/data versioning etc).
Qualification:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields.
Required Skills:
- Understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques (e.g., supervised, unsupervised learning, deep learning).
- Proficiency in Python programming language.
- Familiarity with machine learning libraries and frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.
- Knowledge on Computer Vision concepts
- Experienced with Miniforge, VSCode, Git, etc on Windows and Linux.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is preferable.
- Knowledge of version control tools like Git.
- Familiarity with SQL and working with databases.
- Exposure to basics of devops (e.g., using Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and collaboration with team members.
