Job Duties and Responsibilities (Internship Scope)
As an Intern, you will be expected to:
- Work effectively within an agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Experience with Agile is a strong plus.
- Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and colleagues.
- Collaborate with senior developers to implement AEM solutions based on project requirements.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Java, HTL/Sightly, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
- Contribute to project documentation, including technical specifications and development processes.
Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Interest in software development experience, and testing that supports building highly reliable, mission-critical software.
- Ability to program in at least one Object-Oriented (OO) programming language (e.g., Java, Golang, and/or Python).
- Familiarity with JavaScript and React experience.
- Understanding of distributed system concepts like Web Services, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and REST APIs.
- Able to apply knowledge gained in computer science courses (e.g., Data Structures, Algorithms) to real-world problems.
Preferred Skills
Experience in the following areas is considered a plus:
- Working knowledge of web technologies (such as HTTP, HTML/DOM, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX) will be beneficial.
- Java programming foundation and proficiency in back-end technologies such as Java,, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with jQuery.
- Ability to write code in HTML/Sightly.
