Job Overview

We are seeking a Software Test Engineer to support quality assurance activities across application development initiatives. This role is ideal for professionals with foundational experience in software testing who are eager to enhance system quality, reliability, and performance in an agile environment. You will work closely with developers and senior QA members to ensure defect-free software delivery aligned with business and client expectations.

Job Description :-

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance manual and automated test scripts, test utilities, simulators, and test data.
• Execute functional, usability, performance, scalability, and security testing across applications.
• Document and communicate testing activities, defects, and results clearly through written and verbal reports.
• Manage daily testing activities and maintain accurate records of test progress and outcomes.
• Provide internal quality assurance support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist test leads in identifying project risks and developing mitigation strategies.
• Organize, update, and maintain the test script repository.
• Perform additional related responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, or relevant work experience.
• Up to 3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance roles.
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with manual and automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Working knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and at least one OOP language.
• Experience with database systems and the ability to write complex queries for validation and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of quality management processes and defect tracking practices.
