Job Summary

We are looking for a Shutdown, Turnaround & Outage (STO) Application Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering turnkey quote solutions for STO valve engagements, ensuring superior customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. You will play a key role in creating seamless customer experiences, supporting channel partners with competitive displacement opportunities, and driving impactful outcomes through proactive engagement and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to STO customer inquiries, providing quotes for spare parts, replacement valves, and displacement valves with Management of Change (MOC) support.
  • Deliver datasheets, spare parts details, and emphasize Emerson’s competitive advantages during MOC activities.
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to highlight differentiations between current installations and new offerings.
  • Develop training materials to enhance understanding of competitor displacement opportunities.
  • Design and implement automation tools to improve speed and efficiency of STO quoting activities.
  • Evaluate inventory levels in ERP systems to ensure accurate lead time estimates and fast conversion for operations teams.
  • Meet and exceed key performance metrics such as response time and on-time delivery of quote packages.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, issues, and resolutions in alignment with quality standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Management, or relevant field with prior experience in a similar role.
  • Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering (highly desirable).
  • Strong self-motivation, positive attitude, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent written, verbal, mathematical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of pressure relief valves.
  • Experience with SAP ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform.
