Role Overview

As a Software Engineer at Qualcomm, you will design, develop, and optimize software for Qualcomm’s cutting-edge mobile chipsets. Campus graduates will have opportunities to contribute across diverse domains such as Multimedia, Wireless Modem, IoT, Platform Software, and Connectivity Technologies.

Job Description :-

Key Responsibilities

• Develop real-time embedded software and device drivers.
• Contribute to mobile software development for Android, Windows, or Linux.
• Design and implement features using C/C++ and object-oriented programming.
• Work on protocols (TCP/UDP/IP/SIP/RTP) and wireless standards (CDMA/GSM/UMTS/LTE).
• Build multimedia technologies (Audio, Video, Imaging).
• Engage in Linux/UNIX kernel development, BSPs, and drivers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Participate in application development, UI design, and embedded systems architecture.

Opportunities Include

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Communication Engineering, ECE, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Operating system concepts & data structures.
  • C/C++ programming & object-oriented design.
  • Wireless network standards & protocols.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in team environments.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Linux/UNIX kernel development.
• Experience with Multimedia, IoT, or wireless technologies.
• Hands-on project/internship experience in software development.
