About the Role
Trellix is seeking self-driven, detail-oriented Quality Engineers passionate about working on cutting-edge on-premise and cloud-based security products, covering SIEM, EDR, and XDR technologies. This role involves manual and automated testing, automation development, performance and stress testing, security validations, and more—leveraging modern technologies and AI-driven solutions to ensure product excellence.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, execute, and optimize test strategies, ensuring robust and high-performing releases.

Job Description :-

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze requirement documents thoroughly to design comprehensive test cases covering both new features and impacted functional areas.
• Execute feature and regression test cases manually as needed for product releases.
• Identify and report critical issues promptly with clear, detailed defect documentation using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.
• Select and prioritize automation candidates with high return on investment to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Develop, execute, and debug automation scripts in Python, Go, or Java.
• Monitor automation runs and enhance automation coverage for both on-prem and cloud deployments.
• Perform RESTful API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Explore and expand expertise in Cloud and On-Prem infrastructure.

About You

• 1–4 years of experience as an SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of programming fundamentals (preferably Python or Go) and OOP concepts.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, or similar.
• Familiarity with AWS services (S3, EC2, EBS, EKS, IAM, etc.) is an advantage.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, GitOps is preferred.
• Solid knowledge of Linux systems administration, including Git repo setup, user management, networking, and package management.
• Experience in non-functional testing (performance, load testing) is desirable.
• Understanding of Prometheus, Grafana, and service metrics is a plus.
• Awareness of cybersecurity principles is beneficial.
