Position Overview: Associate Technical Support I

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate Technical Support I to join our Global Support Team. This role involves providing first-level technical assistance, supporting both application and infrastructure issues, and driving a seamless support experience for our clients. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

๐Ÿ”ง Technical Support

  • Provide initial support for software, infrastructure, and system-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot problems in Windows/Linux environments, networks, and web servers.
  • Respond to client queries through email, chat, and phone.

๐Ÿ“ Documentation & RCA

  • Create and update knowledge base articles and technical documentation.
  • Document Root Cause Analyses (RCA) for recurring issues and share insights internally.

๐Ÿ’ฌ Customer Communication

  • Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, ensuring timely updates and resolutions.
  • Serve as a bridge between customers and internal technical teams.

โฐ On-Call & Rotational Shifts

  • Participate in rotational shifts and weekend on-call support as needed.
  • Ensure service availability during off-hours and respond to high-priority incidents.

๐Ÿ” Problem Solving & Monitoring

  • Proactively monitor systems and alert relevant teams to avoid potential disruptions.
  • Use scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell) to resolve and prevent issues.

๐Ÿค Collaboration

  • Work closely with infrastructure, application, and development teams.
  • Ensure smooth coordination for issue resolution and service delivery.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 0โ€“2 years of experience in technical support, system administration, or related IT roles
  • Proficiency in Windows/Linux OS and basic SQL (writing queries)
  • Familiarity with networking protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
  • Hands-on experience with web server management and related troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting
  • Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure or AWS
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ADO, Salesforce)
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with virtualization tools (e.g., Docker, VMware)
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools
  • Basic knowledge of ITIL frameworks or service management processes.
