🧩 About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Business Data Analyst to join our data-driven team. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in analyzing complex business challenges, generating actionable insights, and influencing strategic decisions. You will work across departments to translate business needs into impactful reports and dashboards using data from both internal and external sources.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Analyze complex business problems by leveraging data from various platforms, including social media and internal systems.
• Create strategic forecasts, tactical recommendations, and data-driven business plans based on market and business intelligence.
• Define and build performance metrics, dashboards, and data visualizations to drive actionable insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and relevance.
• Present data trends and patterns clearly and concisely to help stakeholders make informed decisions.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain BI reports and analytical models.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and analytical reports.
• Review and refine existing processes to improve data reporting efficiency and quality.
• Assist clients and internal teams in implementing data-backed strategies and solutions.

✅ What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Strong knowledge of data mining, predictive analytics, and data collection across cloud and on-premise systems.
• Proven ability to analyze and interpret complex datasets and deliver actionable business insights.
• Deep understanding of statistical methods and reporting packages (e.g., Excel, SQL, SAS).
• Expertise in synthesizing data for visual storytelling and intuitive dashboards.
• High attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple teams.
• Familiarity with social media data sources (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) and interpreting associated analytics.
• Understanding of data privacy and security best practices.

🎓 Academic & Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Certifications in data analytics, business intelligence tools, or relevant platforms are a plus.

🧠 Preferred Experience

• Proven experience in business analytics or similar data-centric roles.
• Experience using data collection and reporting tools.
• Hands-on experience with social media analytics and digital performance metrics.
• Strong track record of building Excel-based reports and automated dashboards.
