🔍 About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support Engineer to join our technical support team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and implementing software patches and updates for Windows systems and Azure cloud environments. You’ll collaborate with internal and external customers, diagnose issues, track support tickets, and escalate complex problems as needed.

This is an ideal opportunity for recent graduates or professionals with up to one year of experience in IT support, infrastructure monitoring, or patch management.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deploy software updates/patches for Windows OS using SCCM and related tools.
  • Handle patching and basic administrative tasks for Azure cloud-based environments.
  • Monitor infrastructure and application events, log and track incidents via ticketing systems.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting; escalate issues to Subject Matter Experts or Microsoft if required.
  • Communicate with internal/external customers to resolve technical issues and answer configuration or product-related queries.
  • Document all support interactions and update support tickets with clear, accurate notes.
  • Collaborate with product teams to report bugs, enhancements, or potential design flaws.
  • Stay current on technology trends, product updates, and system configurations.
  • Manage support queues and ensure timely resolution of reported incidents.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
  • Relevant IT certifications (Microsoft, Azure, SCCM, etc.) are a plus.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Windows Server 2012/2016, Windows 10, and Azure fundamentals.
  • Hands-on experience with SCCM, SQL queries, and basic Windows troubleshooting (DNS, DHCP, IIS, Event Logs, PerfMon, Disk Management, Clustering, etc.).
  • Understanding of Azure cloud patching, system monitoring, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with remote support tools and international client support (US/Europe preferred).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
