Goldman Sachs is seeking a skilled and experienced Client Onboarding Specialist with a strong software engineering background to be a part of our Futures Technology Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, front-office environment, closely collaborating with external clients, trading desks, vendors, and internal platform teams.

Job Description :-

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end client onboarding processes—from initial request through production deployment.
• Gather and analyze client requirements; coordinate testing and implementation.
• Manage specifications, client-specific configurations, capacity planning, and throughput optimization.
• Interface directly with business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure seamless onboarding experiences.
• Optimize and automate onboarding tools, documentation, and workflows.
• Support connectivity for electronic trading, particularly within the futures domain.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in client onboarding for electronic trading platforms.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with the FIX Protocol, including FIX certification and testing.
• Proficient in UNIX/Linux environments.
• Good command of SQL and database querying.
• Solid knowledge of networking principles, including TCP/IP, firewalls, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Experience in programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Perl).
• Exposure to financial asset classes such as Equities, Futures, Options, or FX.
• Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
