Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deliver software solutions that enhance the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of critical services.
  • Collaborate with software and systems engineers to maintain uptime and performance of global infrastructure.
  • Support end-to-end system availability, monitoring, and performance tuning for essential cloud-based services.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and build proactive monitoring and self-healing systems.
  • Participate in a follow-the-sun on-call rotation, ensuring 24/7 reliability of services across continents.
  • Contribute to incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting.
  • Solid understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and networking fundamentals.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, virtualization, or cloud technologies.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Kubernetes, EKS, Terraform, Azure, Akamai, or other cloud-native technologies.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and Tempo.
  • Basic knowledge of Major Incident Management (MIM) processes.
  • Experience in cloud infrastructure troubleshooting and OS-level performance tuning.
  • Ability to build automation frameworks for repeatable operational tasks.
